Dr. Madison Lape is a general dentist at Spring Dental in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up in Milan, Illinois, and completed her undergraduate degree at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois with a Bachelors of Art in Biology. Dr. Lape then made the very difficult decision to move 1,600 miles away from her friends and family to attend dental school at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Lape loved going to the dentist growing up, and always loved to watch what her dentist did through a mirror. As she grew up, that same passion inspired her to go onto dental school and combine her loves of science and art.

Dr. Lape and her soon-to-be husband, Dr. Kellan Schisler met on their first day in dental school, and instantly bonded over their love for hiking and sand volleyball. They have adopted two adorable cats together, Moose and Cheeto, and are excited to start their new adventure in Oklahoma together! Dr. Lape loves all things outdoors including hiking, sand volleyball, pickleball, or planning her next national park visit – she plans to visit them all! A fun fact about her, is she loves to sew, and even sewed all her own scrub caps in dental school!

Dr. Eric Nielsen grew up in the Rocky Mountains in northern Utah. He attended BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho for his undergraduate education, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with honors. He then attended SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, New York. There, he enjoyed going on dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Tonga while earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Since moving to Oklahoma, Dr. Nielsen has been dedicated to both cosmetic and general dentistry, and has been placing and restoring implants in the Tulsa area for over ten years.

Dr. Nielsen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Tulsa County Dental Society. He regularly updates his education with an emphasis on endodontics, allowing him to provide convenience and a high quality of care to his patients.

Dr. Nielsen and his wife, Melissa, have seven children; Porter, Adelaide, Charlotte, Anastasia, Hazel, Petronella, and Wyatt. Dr. Nielsen and Melissa enjoy staying busy and active with their family, whether they’re working in the garden at home or out exploring the wilds of Oklahoma. Dr. Nielsen loves all things outdoors including hiking, fishing, camping, and hunting, and is always up for a new adventure!
